Selimiye Village

Selimiye Village is a cute fishing village established by the bay of the same name.

The village has a small square and a small marina. Until recently, transportation was only provided by sea. Therefore, it has a very clean and untouched nature. One of the cleanest seas of the South Aegean is Selimiye Bay. The people are quite friendly and full-eyed. They earn their living by selling the fish they catch from the bay. Selimiye Village is a village where there is almost no security problem. Theft and public order incidents are not seen in the village. You can wander around the village as you wish at any time of the day or night.

Selimiye Village is a quiet village where people who are tired of the chaos of big cities and who escape from the noise and pollution will enjoy a holiday rather than a lively holiday. It is very suitable for families with children. In Selimiye Village, the day starts with the crowing of the roosters. This is a typical Aegean-Anatolian village with its sheep and goats, developing yet unaffected by crowds and pollution. In the village, there are markets where you can meet your needs, a health center, a doctor, a midwife-nurse, and an ambulance serving 24 hours.

In our village, some of the coastline is within the residential areas and some of it is outside. Those who know how to swim can swim anywhere.

Sage, thyme and many medicinal herbs collected from the mountains of the village can be obtained from the women of the village.

Selimiye Village is a cute fishing village located in the unspoiled nature of the Southern Aegean. The village was included in the scope of natural sites by the relevant ministry in 1997.

There are many natural coves and ruins in and around the village. In addition, daily transportation to Marmaris is provided by regular minibuses. There are daily ferry and catamaran voyages between Marmaris and Rhodes. We remind you that our guests who want to participate in these trips must have a Greek visa or a Schengen visa in their passport.

There are three castle ruins around Selimiye. Hellenistic city walls can be visited on the southeast hills of the bay. The watchtower, located 100 meters from the shore and built to guide the boats, is across the beach of our hotel. In Selimiye Bay, which is a natural harbor where boats take shelter in stormy weather, the shallow harbor, which is a natural beach with its sparkling sands, is one of the places worth seeing.

Selimiye Selimhan Boutique Hotel, with its central location, offers accommodation close to the surrounding towns, increasing your day trip alternatives.
